Following victories at the US Open 2023 and Paris Masters, Novak Djokovic has officially reclaimed the world number one position from Carlos Alcaraz. Despite reaching the final, Daniil Medvedev earned an additional 1020 points but remains in the third position.
Below them, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev, and Alexander Zverev have all moved up two spots.

How ATP Men’s Singles Rankings Are Calculated
The global men’s tennis rankings are determined by the ATP system, with ranking points calculated based on a player’s performance in specific tournaments.
Players earn more points the further they progress in direct entry rounds. Grand Slam events offer the most points, with 2000 awarded to the winner and 1200 to the runner-up.
Points earned from each tournament are valid for one year, and the rankings are updated weekly.
