VCS Spring 2024 Format
VCS Spring 2024 introduces the 1vs1 Blind Pick format on the Howling Abyss map.
The format consists of two stages: the group stage and the playoffs. In the group stage, 8 teams will compete in a double round-robin, Best of 3 (Bo3) matches. The top 6 teams will advance to the playoffs, while the remaining 2 teams will participate in the VCS Summer 2024 Promotion Round.
Additionally, VCS Spring 2024 will feature the 1vs1 Blind Pick format with 3 bans on the Howling Abyss map in case teams reach the final match.
In the playoffs, the tournament follows a win-lose bracket format. The top 2 teams after the group stage will proceed directly to the win bracket semifinals, while the other 4 teams will start from the quarterfinals. Teams losing in the playoffs will have an additional chance in the lose bracket. Playoff matches will be conducted in a Best of 5 (Bo5) format.
